Overview
The Singapore Challenge is an engaging board game that allows players to go through the process of getting a company listed while travelling within Singapore, allowing a sense of locality and familiarity that can enhance the game play experience. The board game is in a form of a maze which increases the challenge and also deviates from the conventional format of just having a standard route to follow, providing more enjoyment for the players.
Each player represents a company. The aim of the game would be to get the company listed through fulfilling some criteria for listing on the Singapore Exchange.
Players can choose to move from various start points on the board game, giving players the element of choice. The roll on a die shall determine how many steps a player can take. On the routes of the game are boxes allow players to draw cards, gain cash etc. Players will gather resources through the Question & Reward cards, banks etc. Finally, when the criteria are fulfilled, players have to make their way to the Monetary Authority of Singapore and go past the Winning Route, which consists of higher level questions.

Equipments and Pre-game Setting
Equipment
The equipment consists of a board, a die, tokens, and My Performance Sheet. There are also Do You Know? Cards, Question & Reward Cards, Wild Cards and Winning Route cards.
Preparation
Place the board on a table and put the Cards face down respectively on their allocated islands. Each player chooses one token to represent him/her while traveling around the board.
Each player will start with $15,000 as their company start-up money and they would have to earn the rest of the money through opportunities gained traveling around the board. Each player will also receive a My Performance Sheet to help them jot down any new changes to their company. Players are expected to use the My Performance Sheet to write down their rewards earned as well as assets accumulated etc. Failure to do so will result in disqualification in the game.
All remaining money and other equipment go to the Bank.
Banker – Select a player to be a Banker who will be helping to keep track of monetary matters during the game. A Banker who plays in the game must keep his/her personal funds separate from those of the Bank.
Auditor – The person on each player’s right will be the auditor for that player. An auditor will have to check the player’s My Performance sheet regularly to check for any discrepancies.
Company – Each player will be playing as an individual company and the game objective is to get their company listed first.
